The Hattune

Deep within the dark reaches of the forest lives a soul eating spirit known as the Hattune. Described as a hooded phantom with bright yellow eyes, a dried blood mouth of sharp teeth, long clawed hands, an accordion-like spine that peaks out the back, and carrying a horn made from human bone, the Hattune lures unsuspecting victims into the woods either by mimicking the voice of someone close to them or singing a haunting tune that draws them in. Once it has its sight on the victim, it swiftly steals their soul and traps it within its horn, leaving the body, in a horrified and paralyzed state. It is stated that the Hattune can never truly die as if one has passed, a chosen human will take its place as the new Hattune.
