Being one of the few best Tenno fighter, Alvaro (the Frost Edgeling) decided to stay and fight as their place getting ambushed by the Sentients.
As the other Tenno were transported to Lua, Po and the other group that the Orokin thinks as useless were left and the last to be transported. Alvaro sacrifice his pod to get Po off to Lua.
