Cel, of her full name Celeste, is the daughter of an Arasaka Corpo woman and an Edgerunner man. She has a little sister named Lilith ( Yurehara OC). When she was little, her mother left her father and decided to bring Cel with her as she was the oldest. As an adult, Cel decided to join the MaxTac. When she reached her mid 20, she reconnected with her father and sister. Years later, her father turned into a Cyberpsycho, and the MaxTac was called, Cel had to neutralize him. After that, she starts to drown herself in more work and start to be very distant with everyone, especially her fiancé, Jerry. One night, she finds out he is cheating on her. Cel immediately breaks up and in the same time, quit the MaxTac.

She becomes an Edgerunners with her sister's help, and gets contacted by Maine to work with him. The night before, Cel go to a bar and this is when she meets Pilar. They flirt and eventually spend the night together in the "No Tell Motel" in Watson, Kabuki. On the morning, she meets with Maine's crew, where she meets Pilar again. While their relationship is at first mostly physical, Pilar and Cel quickly grow attached and infatuated in one another, developing a deeper and more serious emotional connection. Even if at first, Pilar still kept to try to hit on Lucy, he eventually stops, being only interested and focused on Cel. They always act like a couple, Pilar even getting pissed at other guy annoying or disrespecting Cel, saying that no fuckers can disrespect his woman that way.

I decided that Pilar is not going to die, instead, Cel manages to push him away him just before he gets shot, him getting only injured and not killed. After the guy is killed, Pilar barely realise what would have happened to him, Cel gets really upset at him, crying, and for the first time, says she loves him. He makes her understand he feels the same way. This time, they go to Cel's place instead of the Motel. It's at this moment that their relationship becomes completely official.
