king tender heart and queen ephemera are the two eldest rulers who also act as mentors for twinklewishes.

tender heart;
he/him, king of love and longevity, self designed

tender heart, despite having a tough exterior (and a bad case of rbf), is a soft hearted and loving individual. He works very well as the extroverted, warm counterpart to ephemera's coldness. his jobs include maintaining not only romantic relationships amongst citizens, but platonic ones as well. He is especially skilled at keeping the peace in equestria. while he has the ability to act as a bit of a cupid and match people up with ease, he prefers to help create more natural (and therefore stronger) relationships instead. because of his age, hes seen many a war, and therefore has a few scars; including missing his right wing. along with being king, he also owns a wedding company.

ephemera, unlike her husband, prefers not to speak and instead enjoys to work on her own. similar to tender heart, however, she has a soft heart underneath a thick, quiet exterior. some even theorize that the only other person to ever see her soft side is tender heart himself. she spends much of her time cataloging historical events in equestria and she's well known for her photographic memory. she also keeps tabs on astrological events and controls many of the things in space (except for the sun and moon, which are both controlled by princess solar eclipse). her cutie mark, a grandfather clock pendulum, was earned while the planets were aligned, during which she was able to recount and catalogue every astrological event from her birth hundreds of years ago to the present.
