FF VIII is great because of that reason - we don't really need to grind characters much, because the stats of our enemies get changed along with ours and we have no much of problem with defeating them

Ah. I enjoy the level grinding part.
It blasts me back to the past. XD
But yeah, I kinda enjoy enemies stats
gaining as mine do. Favorite example:
Oblivion.

emulator. Though I have a real NES
too, it's fun to play an emulator. :3

Yeah. Emulators are useful. You can save at anytime.
Which takes away some of the challenge of the game...

yeah, but training characters also demands a time and we do not always have much of it
some players often can't pass one game or it takes them years because they don't have much time
and yeah, emulators really make things easier ;]
and pesonally I don't find downloading gbc and gba games as illegal because they are already dead consoles

Well, yeah. But in my opinion they should remain free.
And practically all usable emulators should aslready be legal - these newer consoles plus PS2 are very hard to emulate; there is an NDS emulator, but it doesn't work fully well
so emulators for N64, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, PSX, GameBoy Color/Advance and others should be legal

Yes, but emulator could have been forbidden while there consoles were alive. There are not - they are not being sold, the same with games for them. So if you can't get them anywhere, what remains? Emulators.
