Gah... this is messy. That's what I get for drawing on copy paper
This picture began as a little sketch on a break at work (hence the copy paper -_-) and I expanded it over the past few days. When I first drew the character, I was thinking about the Mana Beast from the Secret of Mana series and wanted to know what he would look like as an anthro. It kinda strayed from there... but that was my initial concept.The piece still needs a lot of work, but I was getting bored with it. I figured I'd post it though because I thought if I got caught withholding new art from you guys I'd be in big trouble

buuut... i wanna do that too... i have ffadventure, um... and legend of mana, as of now... i need sword of mana (has the poster picture of it plastered on my tablet X3 worked at toys r us so they gave it to me when it wasn't popular anymore *lucky lucky*)

I have the ROM. The game was never released in the US, only Japan. The "official" cartridge version was only in the japanese language. It's a very good game. You can choose your party, and the story takes different twists depending on who you choose.
I just got Sword of Mana off eBay for like $10 or something

That sounds awesome though... i wish they'd release games in america like that... I had heard it was great but never really had a chance to play it

Oh man! Even for a sketch, this is amazing! I swear to god, you are my art idol. I love the anatomy of your figures and how they seem to "flow" well. Its always difficult to get the body's direction correct so that it doesnt look stiff, and youve done that really well. The wings are to die for! I mean, the look all fluffy!

I just spent $12 on a mechanical pencil and then another $4 on plue graphite. I jut loves it to death. Love the picture here too.

I really like mechanical pencils to create nice, clean lines. Not having to sharpen every 5 min is a plus too!
