Here is a painting I did for the computer game American McGee's Alice. It's supposed to be a charcoal drawing created by Alice while in a hospital, so I tried to keep it a little loose and unrefined, while still making it a good drawing. This illustration was used in the instruction booklet that came with the game. This is the White Rabbit, a character my brother designed for the game.Related content

Honestly, I love your art here. The game itself was amazing as far as artwork goes, and the Cat and Rabbit were my two favorite characters. This image is amazing.

You did the drawings for the booklet???!!! My god! When I was little I would copy them all the time! It's one of the things that influenced me to draw! They're Exquisite. Especially the cheshire cat and the tweedles! The only thing that annoyed me was that there weren't enough of them! (I would have loved a Mad Hatter one.)

Wow..that was you! No way man, I still have that game!! I think I beat it sometime ago..or I was stuck on the Queen..I don't remember. But WOW. Very strange running into the actual artist that did these awesome pictures..its nice to have good art back up a good game! Sweet work!

I actually only did this illustration for the instruction manual.
The Rabbit was already designed by Zach Hall
and the cat was designed by an artist I never met.

That's so cool when I was younger I loved playing this with my Dad and this is one of the pictures I copied out of the booklet.

That's really cool thanks for sharing! Yeah, I did this and almost all the other illustrations for the booklet. Joel Thomas did the cover art.
I worked as a concept artist on the game along with my brother Zach Hall and Joel Thomas as well as a bunch of guys over at EA that I never had the pleasure of meeting.
I was glad to do something that saw print because usually my stuff was only used to give the 3-D guys something to build from.

I knew i recognized this! I loved that game untill my computer crapped out, and it was the illustrations I saw around it that drew me to it! Wonderful job, they sold one more copy from my end because of you.
