Cybertronian Genesis:SPOILER WARNING!! Extracted from the chapter titled "Restless Spark" from Cybertronian Genesis
Slipstream was left alone in the cavernous room. She sighed.
"Why'd it have to be me though?" she muttered, "I thought once Megatron got here I'd be destined for great things, not guard duty.
She started to head after her companions, but stopped at the lifeless, grey shell of Starscream, propped up by the pipes beneath his arms.
Slipstream rapped her knuckles against his chassis, "Still, mustn't complain or disobey. Don't want to end up looking like you, do I?"
She started off. Something grabbed her and held her fast. She turned her head to the right and saw long, cold fingers wrapped around her wrist, clenching tight. The sinewy arm of the sparkless body had reached out and grabbed her.
She looked up at him in terror, and saw him draw back his lips in a mocking grin. There was no colour other than dead grey anywhere on his body, except for his optics, which glinted red.
"Considering the day I've had", Starscream sneered, "I'd say I'm looking pretty slagging good!"
Slipstream screamed.

This was one of my favorite scene from Darth T-Rex's (~ridikill ) Cybertronian Genesis
I was reading away and an adrenaline rush made an entrance as I read this. If you want to know what's going on, why Starscream's up there and more, read the fanfic. You won't be dissapointed.
And yes, I borrowed the title. Nothing fit the scene better.

When I finished coloring Starscream I felt the same about the colors. Definitely better in black and gray. And the red optics can stay.

Undead Starscream....
After watching "TRANSFORMERS: PRIME", This could be possible if Dark Energon is being used (As far as I know, "Dark Energon" can revive Dead Cybertronians as Undead Zombies and Corrupt things)
If Dark Energon IS being used, then Starscream's eyes should be "Pinkish-Purple"
But, that's just my opinion.

I very well know the effects of Dark Energon on a deactivated Cybertronian. But that's not the source of Starscream's resurrection here.

Wow, once again I'm blown away by your talents and thrilled you'd choose to illustrate a scene from my fanfiction. This was easily one of my favourite scenes to write (the idea for it started way back in chapter 1 and I had to wait 30-something chapters before I could write it up). The following chapter, 'Starscream Rising', was also a lot of fun.
Anyway, I just love how freaking sinister Starscream looks and how rightfully petified Slipstream is. The background is awesome too, just how I imagined the Decepticon base to look like, with random clutter in the background.
The way you have Starscream suspended by the pipes is actually a lot better than how I envisoned it. Looks like it was hard work to draw though.

I'm glad you had him suspended by pipes to begin with. It makes the situation so much intense in the sense that Starscream is completely screwed and dead. When I sketched the pipes, I had them wrapped around his legs, too, but then I remembered: This guy eventually gets off later... So I erased that part so that he actually would be able to free himself from those pipes. erase, erase!!!
The things that are hard to draw usually make me satisfied in the end since I was able to face the obstacles. Drawing Strika and Jazz was one of them.
Now, I'm getting ideas for a fourth illustration!! Thanks again!
