I love the colors. Makes me think of a catwalk over a river of molten lava or a walkway over a dwarven mine deep in the earth.

I like these colors together and the design is great, but the look of texture is the winner in this image. Nicely done.

The standard method for making a texture in Apo is to do some tiling, there are beautiful applications of this technique in =WelshWench gallery for example. Here I have tried a completely different approach, overlaying many little semi-transparent elements, and finding a gradient so that they seem to have merged into a single texture. It's very experimental, and I'm glad you like the result.
