Description Ok... First of all, this is my first time ever drawing a flower, especially for anyone before.. But somehow I made
it through it!



Okey dokey Artichokey.. This a "Thank you gift" for for drawing me a picture, and I just had
to do something to show my gratitude for it. When I asked her if she wanted a picture or a story(I was hoping a
story..), but to my surprise.. she asked for a picture. I asked about what, and she told me a flower.. So I asked
what kind, and she said...........................................................................................................................................
.. not sure. Soo.. I found a picture of a Lotus Blossom(one of my favorite flowers..) and asked if it was ok. She
said yes So a couple of weeks later.. This!!!

It took a little over an hour to get this thing looking like this and tweaked it a little in GIMP to make it look a little
better. I really hope it turned out well.

Well.. As always, comments are really appreciated, and welcomed.

Without knowing what your reference was, Its hard for me to have much of a meaningful critiq. But it looks like a flower! Thats 75% of it right there. Next time focus more on line weight. And concentrate not only on the shapes of the individual petals, but how they interact with the petals around them. Those relationships will make it look more realistic.
