Here's the comparison of the scan to the final image. I will admit, I went past where the original colors were when enhancing. ^.^'' They're not that vibrant....

But yes, not only does the scanner "fade" the colors, but you can see from the original scan that my scanner has no clue what it's doing. It thinks the edge of the image for whatever reason cut my original small-scale sketch in half, and it including a bunch of white space to get at my "red testing", but didn't try to include the "blue and black testing" immediately beneath. =-/ I iz confuzzled.
