Playing around with design.I know I am not very out loud about this, but I am actually a huge fan of Steven Universe.
I have always been fascinated with corrupted gems and how most of them appear like animals. I have seen the movie and I may just be a little, OK a lot, obsessed with Spinel. Sooooo. I deiced to design my own interpretation of what I think a corrupted Spinel could look like.
I find it strange that no one else has thought of her being like a kangaroo. I guess there really is a first for everything. I chose kangaroo due to their bouncy nature and the fact that they are known for "boxing" and Spinel throws plenty of punches and kicks throughout the movie.
Also, this is my very first time drawing Steven, I'm surprised it doesn't look like shit.
