2021 has been an interesting year for me, as I'm sure it has been for many. Personally, 2021 was a much better year for me than 2020, but that isn't setting the bar very high. 2020 was a pretty trying year for me on a psychological level. However, I would say that it was a necessary evil for me. I used to sort of disregard issues that I thought were minor parts of society, which made it shocking to me when I was sharply confronted with said problems in 2020. I would say that 2021 has sort of been an acceptance year for me, one where I can truly accept the problems and acknowledge them in my own way. Yeah, some pretty crappy stuff has happened in 2021, too, but I feel like I should just be used to it happening at this point. Life goes on, and I suppose there's no use to dwell on the stuff I hate.

So contrary to the pic, here's to a year that isn't complete trash! Personally, I don't have very high hopes, but the way I see it, anything is better than 2020.
