OMG I want to stab myself in the eyes with a pencil!...needless to say Fran's costume was a royal pain in the ass to draw. I wanted to keep it as close to the game as i possibly could...without going clinically insane. you think I would have learned after doing the first Fran drawing...but noooo, i like to torture myself. anyways, I'm sooo glad she's done and I'm quite happy with her
I've been playing FFXII as often as i can squeeze it into my life, which unfortunately isn't enough.
anyways, hope you all enjoy Fran's ass

Was it the detail that was an ass to draw or was it lack of reference. I know those two things often prevent me from doing fanart. This is really good though.

Where to start? First thing that caught my eye was the texture on her ears. Wow, extremely realistic; not quite soft-looking but definitely not coarse, either. Just fabulously real. It was a perfect contrast for the helmet-thing she's wearing. That slick hard metal look really compliments the fur and vice versa. The costume itself is amazing. Love it. And the background is nice and subtle. Another excellent piece from the house of Rigby.
