I really like this picture. When looked at from a distance, there is a single, powerful image that confronts you (which is enhanced by the symmetry of the picture). But when you look at it closely there are millions of tiny details that you can look at for a long time, and you can make out different shapes/objects (like finding shapes of animals in clouds). The colour-scheme/gradient fits the picture perfectly, as does the title "Cathedral". The many layers and their differing opacities (spelling?) or transparencies really enhance the overall effect of the picture and give it a mystical quality. I like the contrast between the top half (looking at a night sky, in my opinion) of the fractal and the bottom half (almost a throne-like structure, in my opinion). The poem in the description suits the picture marvelously. This is a superb picture, and as such, I will be adding it to my favourites. Excellent work.
