at 420mm effective zoom? i used the IS stop it reckoned was most appropriate xD

damn thats amazing detail for the kit lens!, but man take the ISO down!!! Your shutter speed is so high.

Not the kit lens . I like to keep teh shutter speet up incase somehing happens and I need it. Though I'll try walking around with iso 200 and shutter clsoer to 1/800 and see if I notice a difference.

I was shoot a lot of stuff at 1/200... but the lens had 4 stops of IS on it...
