Personality: She's your classic emo/punk girl. She's very much angsty and broody, with a side of bad social skills. She doesn't always understand why people fear her. However, there is a reason for her angst, and deep inside, she could use a good friend, one that isn't her aunt.

Bio: Valerie was born and raised in Tiamat City. She had a relatively normal childhood, but that all changed when the Jax Mafia (back then just known as Lucas' gang) murdered her parents on her twelfth birthday. She miraculously survived, and she ended up living with her Huntress aunt. Her aunt began teaching her some fighting skills, and gave her a knife as her first weapon. The two of them were always on the move, traveling to different places across Xenith, in an attempt to get away from the city's criminals.

After her parents died, Val completely shut down, so while she was traveling, she wished for a way to either bring her parents back, or exact revenge on Lucas' gang. One day, she and her aunt found an unusual pair of blades on the outskirts of a small settlement. She tried returning them to the village, but nobody seemed to recognize them, as they looked completely unique and different than what they had usually seen. The inhabitants also seemed fearful of the blades as well. Valerie decided to leave the blades where they were, but they kept finding a way back to her. She decided she might as well keep them for herself, seeing as she only had her aunt's knife for protection at the time.

The blades soon revealed their true power when Val and her aunt were ambushed by a roving band of Knallists. The two began fighting them off, but there were overwhelmed. When Val saw that her aunt was about to be killed, she felt a surge of energy flowing through her. That was the last thing she remembered before she blacked out. When she came to, all the Knallists were dead, and only she and her aunt were still alive. Her aunt told her that she had suddenly become a terrifying bloodthirsty warrior and slaughtered every single Knallist. Seeing as she didn't remember that, she realized that the blades possessed a very dangerous supernatural power that needed to be kept under control.

After a few more years of traveling and training, Val mastered her blades, returned to Tiamat City, and joined their Hunters' Guild. She was feared by both enemies and allies, and she became known for her quick and deadly fighting abilities. She's currently the 49th best Huntress. Recently, she and some friends have decided to form a band, where she's the lead singer.

Strengths/abilities: Val is an excellent close range fighter. She fights with an unusual pair of khopeshes that are made of an indestructible metal and possess mysterious dark magic properties. These properties give the khopeshes the ability to absorb blood. When the blades have absorbed enough blood, Val is able to tap into their power and enter her Hysteria Form. In this form, she becomes three times as strong and fast as she normally would be, at the cost of becoming more vulnerable and possibly letting the blades take control of her. When she lets the blades control her, she becomes a whirlwind of destruction. She can also teleport short distances in Hysteria Form. In addition, she looks three times as edgy, since her hair starts turning red, her eyes turn black, and she cries blood. This form is even stronger during a full moon. She also carries her aunt's knife on her at all times, as well as a pistol. Outside of combat, Valerie is a fairly competent singer.

Weaknesses: Her blades won't absorb blood if under the influence of anti-magic, or during a lunar eclipse. In her Hysteria Form, she's very weak to light/holy magic, and generally easier to injure. She basically becomes a glass cannon. Her Hysteria Form has a six minute time limit, and she reverts to her normal form as soon as the time is up. Also, she gets sunburn easily.
