I really like the use of religious iconography that relates to the Old Testament. Most of the depictions I've seen of Adam and Eve aren't as "dark" as your picture, but considering most of those were made in the renaissance, and that you've obviously used your own style it's really refreshing to see.
I don't know what made the older version "uglier" but it'd be good to see so people can see the contrast in quality/how you've developed or grown as an artist.
I like how you do faces. Most of the pictures where you draw humans are really, really good, and I barely ever see people who really draw human faces with as much expression/emotion as you do.
That being said, the snake seems to be lacking a lot of emotion in it's eyes. The rest of it is good, although considering that the Snake that tempted Eve into chowing down on the forbidden fruit was a manifestation/avatar/whatever of lucifer, it'd be nice if you could have drawn more detail and expression in the snake that conveyed that.
I really like the use of iconography. Some of it is more blatant than others, and I know that Eve having an upside-down crucifix bracelet doesn't make a lot of sense, but it still gets the point across that she's sinned.
I can't really comment on the technique of the picture, seeing as I'm artistically bankrupt and couldn't draw a tree to save my life, the shading/use of lighting/how you conveyed a sense of sterility and cold is pretty good.
I have no fucking clue what "vision" is so I'll just give you five stars.
You can take this at face value, I wrote this at two in the morning whilst being partially drunk.

It feels like it would fit the "myth" of Lilith better. But screw that, we got religion to mock.
