gotta pay my respects to Friedrich Nietzsche for his superfamous and inspiring quote "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."- taken from Beyond Good and Evil, Aphorism 146

initially i was inspired by the song "torches" from rise against, to do something upstanding and meaningful, but after returning home drunk last saturday, i kinda started up my computer to resume painting on this while spamming "monster" from skillet, which mostly deals with the monsters inside of us xD in the end it´s more like i was mostly inspired by combining nietzsche with skillet haha

painted mostly with my "new" hairbrush, which i used for the feathers on the swan on my previous piece
please feel free to point out stuff, you don´t like or might actually do like haha - i´m always thankful for feedback ^^
