I loved the concept art more than the actual film animation, as well as the pencil sketches. The first time I watched it, I didn't like it but it grew on me and now it's one of my favs!

I love how you used colours in this piece by the way.

I was pleasently surprised myself. I wasn't really sold on the trailer, but the movie itself ended up a lot more clever and visually pretty than I expected. I do wonder what it'd been like if they'd stuck to the original concept for the animation though, making it more like flowing paintings.

Well they used the flowing paintings technique in Hercules for Olympus... I think it would have been too much for a feature film entirely. I like what it ended up as, even if I'm always going to prefer 2D animation over 3D.

Oh I agree 100%. I mean, I love a lot of the Pixar stuff, but 2D is always going to have that kind of quality I've spoken with you about before that I prefer over 3D.
