Description A continuation to Bree's picnic in which her giant of a husband Anthony decided to join her after work.
The idea came from ~falloutghoul. Thank you.
This one is larger than most and took way longer to render than i would like to see just over 45 minutes. i have noticed a few flaws but if you see any please feel free to point them out

woah... hoooooge! nice to see a plus-size render...
ah... for the times when my renders took under an hour... stick UberEnvironment on it and it takes three hours to render one person without background! with all this transparrency on the hair and leaved, it would take about eight...

my main complaint is that the leaves shine like plastic... but to fix that, you would have to either make a custom map, or use the diffuse as a specular / glossiness map and spend a while trying the 'suck it and see' approach...
after that, it's the good ole bump-texture on the bench... DAZ never seems to have the right ammount. it's always something stupid like 1%... i crank that to 100 as default and see how that makes it look.

anyway, good way to legnthen the scene. i can see you used a second floor after the bench's floor ran out... the scourge of limited scenery.
lookin good though

ya i decided to try seeing what it would look like at the same size image my camera makes and i thought it worked rather well although i don't think i will be doing another one that big for a while

i try to stick to around 2,000 pix... it's not too big for renders, but keeps a decent ammount of detail
i used to punish myself by making insanley huge shots that were 10,000 square :S

That is a lot of time down the drain. but as long as it came out good i was probably worth it

in the original Bree picnic pic you said
"~falloutghoul Nov 22, 2012
Dang, how much Cider does she need for the picnic?
Or is it for any potential "guests." "
and that gave me the idea for this

Only 45 minutes to render? Wish I had those times with my renders. Even my smallest render can take up to an hour, though that usually depends on how many transmaps are used and what I cram into the render. Kinda why I stick with the portrait style. At any rate, I wouldn't worry about the flaws, there's no such thing as a perfect render. Most you can hope to do is try and mask the flaws.

i was mostly only complaining about it taking so long because i had to do it twice. i didn't realize most of my textures did not support ray tracing

I've done plenty of renders more than once. But that's mostly because I end up noticing things I could tweak. As far as textures not supporting raytracing, never came across that issue before. Even with materials made specifically for Poser.
