Description
This is Daarka's entire life packed into a bag and a scroll case. Every piece is precious to her and she isn't very fond of anyone else going through her belongings. I've been meaning to draw this all out for a while now, but having someone writing with me (and having their characters potentially rummaging through her shit) got me to actually get it done woot.

1: A self-made lantern. Disassembles for easy storage. Consists of two clamshell-like halves--one with a peg in the center (for a candle to sit on), and the other with a highly polished, mirror-like interior that reflects the candle's light like a beam, as well as a peg used to fit the side's hinges together. The bottom plate has a ring-like handle. (She carries a couple home-made candles with this contraption, as well.)

2: A self-made fire-starter. Squeezing the sides together causes two special materials at the end to grind together, producing sparks.

3: A ridiculous amount of scrolls, both empty, and filled with maps and drawings. (These are the only items kept in the scroll case, everything else is in the pack.)

4: A fairly large inkwell, though the type of ink it's filled with doesn't usually stay the same, since it's only refilled when she finds someone who sells ink, essentially.

5: A crudely-made quill from a goose feather. The tip is starting to fray a little. Usually stained in dried ink.

6: A curious material she found that can be used as a writing utensil (comparable to charcoal, but doesn't smudge as easily). She's sharpened the tip with a knife for precision, and wrapped most of it in a scrap piece of fabric so it doesn't rub off on her hands.

7: An incredibly basic measuring compass.

8: On of her most prized possessions; a custom-made navigation device. The top lid has an arm that can either lay flat or stand upright, which is used as a sundial. The lid opens to show a normal compass behind a glass face. If turned over, the bottom side is an intricate astrolabe. She'd seriously cry if she lost this.

9: A crude linen bag holding some basic eating utensils: a wooden bowl, minimalistic wooden fork and spoon, and a small mug made from a hallowed-out bull horn.

10: Assorted herbs wrapped in cloth (I only drew one; she carries several of these with different herbs in each one).

11: Assorted potions in random glass vials, mostly for medicinal purposes.

12: A couple rolls of bandages.

13: A deerskin water flask (hand-made, but surprisingly not terrible quality).

14: Her cloak, which is neatly folded or rolled up in her bag unless she's wearing it.

15: A hand-made slingshot, which again, is surprisingly decent quality. She doesn't carry "ammunition" for it; just uses random rocks or other crap lying around her when she needs to.

16: A simple knife in a hand-stitched leather sheath.
