Oh, it's Indy alright! No doubt in this fangirlie's mind! I LIKE the "graphic-y" quality--it reminds me of so many of the Indiana Jones movie posters, all of which I love; the detailing is wonderful: the hat, the jacket and shading--terrific likeness, too (superb expression--all Indy! )! I must ask: what is it here that YOU don't like...? It sure seems to capture the character for me. Going into s for sure!

Well--I have to believe here that it's just your own "overexposure" to the piece; it looks fabulous to me. I've been there before: having stared at a photo and drawing for ages and it starts to look like c@#p...but post it up, ask for crits, and folks end up just gushing over it. Sometimes we become too hyperfocused, and the best thing is to just set it all aside for a while, give the eye a chance to rest and refresh. I love this, and think it captures Indy so well (that expression! )--most excellent, and wonderfully timed!

Again, I don't think this is as bad as you think it is. Although, it does look as though you were starting to give up on the right side, viewer's left, because there isn't as much detail there as on the other side. But it's still an excellent drawing.

When are you going to try adding a bit of color? Since you're playing with watercolors and they work so well with pencils...

I started a watercolour painting last week but the papers pap so i scrapped it til i get some new paper, i keep looking at the colour pencils then remember my last mess i will get something in colour soon just for you

i think that the lines what define his wrinkles are not sensetive. you just made a strong line. espessialy the line from his nose that go's near his mouth - the right side. [my right side]
and something in his neck is strange. i'm not sure what is hapening there. is it his neck or a shirt?

There were supposed to be a lot of darker shadowing around the neck but like i say i got bummed with it and cut it short hopefuly when i get back to it i can sort it all out
