You too?! The same thing happened to me. Some messages come through, and others I accidentally stumble upon. Same with deviations, journals and favs. Practically everything the message center should be taking care of. One minute I'll see a message in my message center, then when I refresh without replying, it disappears. This is seriously getting on my nerves.

Apart from this crap I'm doing great thanks! Finally the weather is getting cooler, Gary moved to a new department within his job, and now he's working with a bunch of Brits. I love hearing the stories he comes home with. One of those blokes was trying to explain to his American counter parts that they shouldn't be offended by some of the things he says, i.e.:

A fag break = a smoke break
A dyke = an earthen mound
A lorry = an 18 wheeler

That and Gary find's it necessary to speak with an English accent at home now. So yeah, I'm fantastic!

I think I laughed hardest at the dyke one. The boss told one of the dog handlers: "Oye! Take your dog o'er there ... by that dyke". Then Gary said everyone turned to look asking "Where?" I think the English accent is really cute! At least they get grammar correct 98% of the time and you don't hear a lot of that crappy "rap" slang BS.

I don't know where he's from. They just met on Monday so they're not quite at the informal level yet. Apparently there's also a Welsh female in the group, and her accent is heavy.
