Now that I have all of my current banner illustrations done, I thought it might be fun to share some of my design sheets here. Eventually, I'm going to do a gigantic blog post for each of the two main characters, but for now, I'm just posting one sheet for each.

Next up, Detective Reggie Harper. My design work for Reggie didn't go nearly as in depth as it did for Elizabeth, because he simply didn't need it. Facially, he's much more stoic that Elizabeth, so I didn't have to do nearly as many facial expressions. And seeing as he's a very particular, seasoned detective, his style of dress is mostly practical, uniform clothing. The eye logo in each bubble represents the shadowed version of each color. All the shadows are done as a black overlay, which is then set to a certain opacity. For Reggie, that opacity is always 55%. Ten percent darker than his doting daughter.
