A fanatical group of vindictive hunters, this order has hounded and killed vampires for a long time. They have been at war against all vampires especially those living in the remote land Bolthic, both sides have suffered casualties since their war began thousands of years ago. It’s unknown why these individuals hate vampires aside from belligerent and rogue sects of vampires that attack other regular people but it’s said that there was an incident that caused this great hatred for the race. The details are unknown for both are not forthcoming about what truly happened, there’s much contention as to what occurred as both sides seem to accuse one another and both stories contradict each other. The order is large enough that they are considered a quasi nation however due to their actions over the thousands of years killing vampires indiscriminately both those who have terrorized other races and ones that have lived peacefully and coexisted with others the gods with heavy hearts saw little choice but to declare them as a belligerent and rogue nation. The order hunts and kills all Vampires peaceful and hostile alike, this goes against the gods wishes and thus they are an enemy to the rocky peace they try hard to maintain throughout the worlds, they in addition to their vigilante-like activities do not comply with the gods laws further cementing them as a renegade organization. Dahortheron above all the gods takes great issue with these people as they take justice into their own hands in other words vigilantism, something the deity of justice despises deeply for it’s a form of revenge and revenge is the bitter enemy of justice. The High Dawn Order has a startling and sizable arsenal at their disposal for an upstart band of hunters, everything from mechanical weapons Ciliagorn would be proud of ingenuity wise, to magical weapons to even miracles and other spells. The order prefers to use what they call “sunlight miracles”and fire magic, in general they use anything and everything they can to hunt and kill their prey.

List of some of the miracles exclusive to the High Dawn order: These miracles where devised and designed especially to kill vampires, these miracles are not granted to these people by gods but like some magic that can be created or come into existence by strong inspiration, these miracles came forth to them inspired and birthed from their hatred for vampires and their desire to burn and inflict as much pain on them as possible making these spells quite dark despite how holy they may look. All these spells do the most damage to vampires and are less effective if used on other races.

Wrath of the Sun- The caster prays and a large sphere of sunlight charges and grows rapidly until it explodes dealing heavy damage to vampires by bathing a large area in sunlight.

Spears of Dawn- Conjures homing spears of sunlight that launches and pierces through targets. If the target is a vampire then it sets them on fire in addition to high damage.

Holy Rays of Dawn- Casts beams of sunlight that randomly shine down around the caster burning and blinding vampires that get caught by their gleams

Purification- This blood magic spell causes the blood of a vampire to boil in their veins causing excruciating pain, has no effect on non-vampires. The order has used this spell to torture vampires and or to stun them leaving them open to attacks.

Dawn Rosen Fury- This spell was devised by a disgruntled and disgraced Rosen Knight who had a vendetta against vampires and so made this dark and visceral spell. This spell makes rose-like thorns made of sunlight erupt out from within the target setting them ablaze in the process in addition to heavily bleeding them.

Trivia:
The order has no official uniforms for they claim that their “work” doesn’t afford them time to stand on ceremony. Thus they instead identify themselves as part the order by them having the order’s crest branded onto themselves somewhere on their bodies.

The grand master and leader of the order is called the “Dawn Superior”.

Rank wise the order has the basic ranks of most militaries.

While a large nation of its own it has few locations where it calls home as the order operate through cells. Since they are deemed a criminal organization, not having a uniform works well for them and utilizes simple illusionary Magic to hide their orders brand on their bodies when needed and can infiltrate other nations easily.

The order is well known for employing dirty and underhanded tactics.

Members of the High Dawn often take trophies from their blood drinking prey, often their fangs. They forcefully pull their fangs out and decorate their weapons with them sometimes even make magic charms with them that gives them an edge as they have some enchantment that weakens vampires.

The order uses anything it can against its sworn enemies thus they are not above using forbidden and dark magics to fight their prey. Vampires after all are weakest elemental wise to dark element as much as fire.

While the order is seen officially by the gods as a criminal organization, many nations especially the ones that are noncompliant with the general laws of the gods have their respect, since they are not bound by nor follow the rules of the gods they affiliate with them freely. The order also has many investments and other shell and front companies that help fund them.

Once was a the “Dawn Superior” (master) of the Order of the High Dawn. Having had his family murdered by extremists vampires he would’ve died by the hands of his own family as his mother and brothers became vampires, his life was saved by a passing High Dawn patrol. The warriors of the High Dawn killed his turned family, they took and raised Roc and in time he joined the order to avenge himself and his family. Roc had racked up a high vampire body count in his day as a hunter and he led the order well killing all vampires that turned their wrath to humans and others. There came a time when he stepped down and named a young Rosenmordian, Nathaniel Saphi (Nate to his friends) his successor, Nathaniel and Roc were alike in that they both lost family to blood crazed vampires, Nate’s family was murdered by a notorious rogue vampire named Namire Aposto, a vampire General turned extremist banished from Bolthic for trying to conquer non-vampire nations he led a bloody trail across countries until Nate’s family were caught in the way, Nate was only 9 years old when Namire bled his family dry while making him watch. Left for dead Roc came across the massacred village and found only one survivor none other then Nathaniel. Roc took Nathaniel in and raised him much how he was raised by the order when they saved his life years ago, when he came of age he joined High Dawn. Ever since they have been close and in time Roc became a father figure for Nathaniel as much he was his mentor. Nate was shocked when Roc announced he’d make Nate his successor and he initially was reluctant to take his new position and responsibility, he accepted nonetheless while Roc retired from hunting and went into exile from society as he and every member of High Dawn is technically a criminal in the eyes of the gods, he lives in solitude while still advising the order on the side, his former protégée visits him when he can.

Trivia:
Roc Jamerian was once married unknowingly to a vampire that kept her nature well hidden from him. Many were shocked when it was discovered that she was one, as was he for he didn’t know of her secret. Apparently she didn’t know the man she loved was of the High Dawn thus she fled but Roc pursued her till he caught up with her and ended her.

Nathaniel Saphi is seen as a legend to his order as he has the highest vamp kill record to date out of anyone else, he broke his mentor Roc Jamerian’ record which was over 320,657. Nathaniel’s record to date is 523,869 and counting.
