So the engine started to malfunction suddenyl and Wallace expended hours trying to fix it to the point it became quite obvious he didn't know what he was doing, they all were under the heat of the sun for quite a while, so they ran out of pattience and decided that i was best to bring out the fact he was no mechanic.

But Ellie knows how to repair an engine though? Yes she does, since she is the neice of Barrus who is a very talented expert with machines in general and since Ellie was he taught her how to fix a bit of everything as she grow Barrus teached how to fix complex things, she might not be as good as him but she holds up in the regards of repairing
