Dispite never actually meeting his parents or has tried to reveal them all of the truth behind the person they thought it was their son, he actually cares for both of them a lot and will always send them gifts on their birthdays and mother's and father's days respectively, making them look like it was his clone who did it, Jonathan (this is how we must reffer to the clone to the difference the real John from him) always gets them something else with the rings he can afford but when is about to give them the gifts he bought for them, it turns out "He already got them something" this always made him a bit concerned of who was buying them gifts and making it look as if he was the one who bought them for them, thinking maybe he has gift angel that backs him up when is unable to actually get something for his parents without realizing all of the truth behind his own existence, John learned the truth about how come no one talked about 20 missing children and it was cause they never were reported missing due they were replaced with clones when they were barely 1 year old, John managed to find a clue that would lead him "home" when he did he saw him, Jonathan was there talking with who he assumed was his father, when he was about to step in... he took a pause and reflected if it was the right thing to do, take a life that didn't belong truly to him, dispite it may seem that it did... truth is John never lived that life, he didn't grow up with his parents, had a happy childhood, went to a middle school, expended time with both of his parents, all of that was what Jonathan lived... dispite he was a clone he was also innocent, he didn't have any fault in the circunstances, it was all the goverment controlled by the Court of Shadows, Jonathan didn't had to pay for what John suffered... and besides he could not bare to risk his parents lives given his life style would draw a lot of enemies towards him and they would go after those he cared about should they learn he has people he cares for, once all this thoughts crossed his mind he backed away and left accepting he has to be away from them for their safety but he would always watch over them and aid them from the shadows whenever they needed it the most
