Overview
This page details the procedure for initiating, changing and cancelling a Standard Feature. A Standard Feature entails featuring a donor, a friend or a group in the dAhub Donation Widget to receive watches, favs and/or llama badges.
Description
If you donate 20 points or more and include the words
feature me
in the donation message, you will be featured in all three sections of the Donation Widget on my profile page. You will receive watchers, favs and llama badges. Your avatar will be removed from the widget when the cumulative value of the watchers, favs and llama badges you have received matches the points you donated (refer to the "Transaction Rates" section below). Donors may give points through the Donation Widget on my profile page (publicly or anonymously) or through the "Give" button; all donations are processed in the same way.
Donations of 19 points or fewer will be temporarily stored until more points are received (cumulatively 20 points or more) [details]
If you donate 100 points or more you get 25% extra activity for FREE [details]
Appear Under Specific Headings
The default service lists the donor in all three sections. If you only want watchers and favs, but no llama badges for your points (or some other combination), specify which headers you wish to be listed under in the donation message.
feature me watch fav llama
You will be listed under fewer headings, but will be listed longer. The bot looks explicitly for the words "watch", "fav" and "llama" in your donation message. If you use syntax like "feature me in watch and fav but not llama" you will be featured in all three sections because your donation contains all three key words.
In order to be featured in the llama section, users must have already received at least one llama badge before the feature starts. Users must have at least one artwork in their gallery to be listed in the fav section.
Feature a Specific Deviation, Journal or Gallery
By default, users who are featured in the "fav" section have their avatar link to the most popular deviations in their gallery. You may choose where your avatar links to by including a link in your donation message. For example:
feature me http://USERNAME.deviantart.com/art/USERNAME-ART-8675309
will feature you in the watch, fav and llama sections. Your avatar displayed in the "fav" section will link to the deviation or gallery specified by the URL in your donation. If you wish to only be featured in the "fav" section with your avatar linking to one of your galleriy, use the following syntax:
feature me fav http://USERNAME.deviantart.com/gallery/25257510
Please note that while your avatar may link to a certain subset of your artwork, users earning points are still given credit for faving any of the artwork in your gallery, not just the work featured in the link you have chosen to display.
Feature a Group
If you want to feature a group instead of yourself, use the :dev: tag. DO NOT include the @ symbol. The format of your donation message should look like this:
feature :devGROUP:
This will feature group in the watch section. Replace the text "GROUP" with the name of the group you would like to feature. All notes generated by my account will be sent to you, the original donor. You may feature an unlimited number of groups at one time. You may feature yourself while also featuring groups. By default, groups are only listed in the "watch" section. If you wish to feature a group in the watch and llama sections, use the following syntax in your donation message:
feature :devGROUP: watch llama
Feature a Friend
If you want to feature a friend instead of yourself, use the :dev: tag. DO NOT include the @ symbol. The format of your donation message should look like this:
feature :devFRIEND:
This will feature friend in the watch, fav and llama sections. You may choose which sections your friend appears under by adding the words "watch", "fav" and/or "llama" at the end of your donation message. Replace the text "FRIEND" with the name of the friend you would like to feature. Before your friend is featured, they will be sent instructions on how to start their feature. Their feature will only start once they have approved their feature. If they do not approve their feature within one week after your donation is received, the points you donated will be refunded to you, the original donor. You may feature yourself while also featuring friends and/or groups. At any time, the original donor or friend may choose to end the feature by leaving a comment on my profile page with the word "terminate" in it, at which time the points remaining in the feature will be promptly returned to the original donor
Correcting a Mistake
This section refers to making changes to or terminating a feature
When a feature starts, 5% of the points donated are immediately deducted as part of the Referral Network program. This does not affect how many watch, favs and llamas you will receive, only the number of points you will receive if you request a refund.
You may request a refund of your remaining points at any time by following the instructions in the next paragraph. However, if you only wish to modify which specific headers you appear under, not to terminate your feature, it is better to simply modify your existing feature. It is better to modify your feature using the following method rather than asking for a refund and donating again to avoid paying the Referral Network fee twice. Also, deviantART limits the number of points that can be transferred between two accounts annually to 20,000 points, so it best to minimize unnecessary back-and-forth exchanges. To modify your current feature, donate a single point and follow the instructions above for formatting the donation message to specify all the exact sections you wish to appear in. Your new donation will override all the settings from your previous donation. Features can be modified to show the recipient under different headers, but the featured user themselves cannot be changed. For example, you may donate to feature a friend, but you cannot modify that feature to instead feature yourself, a group, or a different friend.
At any time, you may request to have all the points remaining in your feature(s) returned to you by leaving a comment on my profile page dAhub with the word "terminate" in it. However, doing this will stop ALL the services you have donated points for
Details
Users that do not have any deviations in their gallery will not be featured in the "fav" section. Similarly, groups that are featured will not appear in the "fav" section
Sequential donations will be combined; this is referred to as "Order Stacking". Donations are processed the moment they are received, even if a feature has not expired yet. If you donate before your existing feature has expired, you will be featured for the settings specified in the most recent donation. For example, if you donate 20 points with the donation message "feature me fav", and then donate 1 point with the donation message "feature me llama" before your first feature expires, you will be listed under the "llama" headings for a service of 21 points
If you donate 100 points with the donation message "feature me" (in which case you will be featured in the watch, fav and llama sections) and then donate 100 points with the donation message "feature me watch" before your first donation expires, you will be featured in just the "watch" section for a service of 200 points.
A note will be sent to you when your feature expires. If you wish to end your feature early, leave a comment on my profile page dAhub with the word "terminate" in it and you will be removed from the feature list. The points remaining in your feature will be refunded to you.
Examples
If you donated 20 points with the donation message feature me, you would be featured for receiving watches, favs and llama badges. The exact ratio of watches, favs and llamas you receive is arbitrary, but the sum of all three categories will equal the value of the points you donated.
If the going rate was 0.6 watch per point, 2 favs per point and 3 badges per point, then if you donated 20 points and received 6 watches (10 points), 12 favs (6 points) and 12 llama badges (4 points), you would then be removed from being featured.
For 20 points, it is also possible to receive 9 watchers (15 points), 4 favs (2 points) and 9 llama badges (3 points). Other combinations are possible; once you reach a cumulative service of 20 points, you would be removed from the feature lists.
To feature a group like dAhubPLUS instead of your own account, use the following syntax:
feature :devdAhubPLUS: watch
You can feature a friend like dAhub instead of your own account by using the following syntax:
feature :devdAhub: watch fav llama

Um I've donated twice now and sent note I donated 20 Points and the message attached was "Feature Me Watch" and the second donation was 30 points "Feature me llama". I've sent a note twice and no response when will my features start. PS never had a problem in the past with features how come now??

Look I take it you didn't get the memo but it has been working within the past couple of weeks I even talked about it with dahub and they said their systems are fine. To prove that it was fine and working I was featured on the page not too long ago. I understand they could be having problems but I haven't had a response from them to figure it all out. I have read the widget multiple of times and that one is out dated so I'm assuming you didn't read it all lol. I don't think you know the situation enough to put in a word sorry. Strange as to why it worked not long ago and this was also updated on june, also they may have got it mixed around just weird it would work for a short period when they did post the update and then it turned off again. My point overall was that even when I followed the rules and sent a note asking for a refund I haven't been contacted to let know what has happened. Some people have received their points back, but I have not.
