Inktober #15 - DAGGER -

The wooden flooring creaked softly while Wiwi carefully sneaked through the abandoned halls.

The castle wasn't as scary as she first thought, but it was still empty as if the owner - whoever that might have been - has left it right here and there.
The rooms she wandered through were still fully furnished and only a moderate layer of dust revealed how much time has passed without anyone living here.

"Okay, well... that's not too bad!", Wiwi whispered while exploring the different rooms.
The stars on her clothes looked around frantically, looking for something very specific.
Then suddenly after Wiwi entered a long corridor with stone walls Twinkle and Twack both began to tug her forwards - directly towards a spiral staircase leading down somewhere, most probably the basement.

"Ohhh, please no... come oooon...!", she moaned thinking about the scary stuff that could very well still hide down there.
The stars were adamant though. So the little witch sighed and once again battled her fear, taking the stairs.

And down there was - nothing!
Well, not exactly nothing. The one room in the basement seemed to be completely empty.
The walls were made out of the same stone and the wooden flooring creaked with every step.
Wiwi carefully ventured further into the room and discovered what seemed to be a... lever of some kind with a star attached to the end, firmly stuck in the wall.
The two stars levitated around it, now visibly excited.

Wiwi approached the "lever" and grabbed it to pull on it -
But instead she pulled it out of the stone wall and revealed what seemed to be a broken... dagger?

With confusion she looked at the broken weapon in her hand, not realizing the magical bright light which slowly crawled out of the hole the dagger left behind...
