Backstory: Lightning Dust could not get over her failures. Not because she was kicked out of the Wonderbolts, or that she tried to one-up Rainbow Dash. But her attempt at sabotaging Rainbow Dash's chances of being the Wonderbolt Captain went up in smoke. But one day, Lightning Dust discovered the ruins of an ancient civilization. There, she found a strange and mysterious relic. When she touched it, it transformed her into a cyborg, with her head remaining mostly organic.

Now with a new sense of purpose, she and her newly cyberized Washouts will do what it takes to upstage Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts. With her new technological upgrades, she intends on becoming the most dangerous daredevil in Equestria, even if it meant disgracing what's left of her name.

This was done as a submission to the Future Ponies event on Equestria Daily. It also counts as a small nod to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance(Mainly Raiden, Sundowner, Mistral, Monsoon, and Jetstream Sam) and Frost from Mortal KOmbat 11. I may do a model sheet for any modeler wanting to turn this into an 3d Model(Mainly for SFM)

Lightning Dust is apart of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Universe created by Bonnie Zacharle and . Owned by Hasbro.
