It is so cold
To cold to move
Yet it is warm
Lulliing me into a long, deep, sleep

I see a light
A shining light
So warm and comferting
Like it is calling me

But I still feel connected to this world
Bound by a diamond thread
The thread
So hard to break

I now see what this thread is
The thread that will always tie the living to the dead
The love that all people share
And the love between two people

The thread is pulling me back
I am not ready to go
It is not my time
Nor is it yours

I will live once again
To love again
This thread will never be broken
