Created in Photoshop CS4
This is a technique test for an upcoming project. I wanted to do decent distortion with little effort. Besides painting in 10 seconds of transparency on the arm. The whole thing consists of 3 images converted into Smart Objects for easy changing/ replacing.
Background image = spirit of life photo (mine)
Water texture image = created in Photoshop with filters
Arm image = Stock photo from DA, (Guy whome I will not mention because his name is racist, if you recognize this, grow up and I'll acknowledge you)
I may put up a Tutorial on how I created this later if enough people ask. It's probly 5 steps and 15 minutes if your slow. You'll be able to swap out the background image and still have it distorted through an object.
