This is my Windows search box. Windows 7 search. Showing off the cool new "Federated Search" function with Deviantart.[link]
Explains and lists more search functions but the bottem line is you can install tiny scripts into Windows 7 to search directly to and OpenSearch or RSS2 supported search engine. This includes many sites such as google news youtube flickr [link] and yes DeviantArt [link]
Go from searching your computer for a particular image name, or even a file you had natively tagged within windows itself, right to another search engine without leaving the window or retyping the name.
It reads the tags, rating, date and can show you a preview of the webpage it is on if you choose.
