Light Crusader is King Garriott's legendary sword, crafted and blessed by mages and priests to have the power to fell the demon Ramiah in battle. As a result, this sword has every bit as much a notorious reputation as Garriott himself, for the king would not have been the hero he was without this sword....yet the sword would have been nothing without the heart of the man who wielded it for his people. As a result, some say that Garriott's resolve resides within this blade, determined to complete its solemn duty while wielded by a swordsman with a compassionate heart. Despite its legendary status, the sword has been lost for ages, having disappeared when King Garriott himself left his kingdom, never to be seen again. What is known, however, is that though this sword lacks any outward manifestation of its magical power, it devastates any creature aligned with the evil demon marked as its sworn enemy, proving to be more powerful than any other sword before it. It has been lost for ages, until it chose its next wielder in the form of David Lander during his investigation of the kidnappings in Green Row.

Acquired after defeating The Ghost guarding the pathway to Ramiah's burial site, this sword is more powerful than any other sword possessed.

Yeah, you read that right, sword 8/8. I truthfully always found it weird that this sword is found at 2/3rds of the way through the game instead of the end of Floor 5 or something since most other games only allow you to use the most powerful weapon for the last stretch and that's it. While the sword IS the most powerful, it's should be noted by the player that it's not necessarily the most "useful" as there's other swords with other properties to be found after this one.
