Remick was indeed born to be an intelectual, but he was raised to be a Warrior. Although violence isn't in his interest, he is trained and skilled in combat. Unlike most of his kind, he is also courageous and outgoing, never hesitating to stand his ground and face an opponent. If he was ever inclined, Remick could be quite the formidable opponent; intelligent, with the skills of a warrior. However, getting physical is only ever an option when his brother Robi is in trouble. Otherwise, he's rather lazy.

GOOD | DECENT
A little vague, perhaps, but to the point. What he lacks in sweetness and compassion, he makes up for in being a good guy. Need help? Well, he'll probably tell you to ask someone else. But if it's dire or a serious problem, he will help you. He'll save your sorry ass if need be, and he'll apologize for his mistakes. He's no angel, but he's more than just a grumpy face.

His childhood of being a protector has lead to Remick having some good qualities such as confidence, loyalty, and being watchful of others. However, he can also be bossy and rather arrogant. When with follower-types, he'll naturally step into the roll of a leader. But when with leaders, he'll easily step into the follower roll. Although his talent as a leader is admirable, his execution can be very bossy and stubborn.

ANTISOCIAL | LONE WOLF
Keeping to the small cave he shares with Robi, Remick is an elusive lone wolf. He only interacted when their is cause to do so, and clearly withdraws when individuals he does not known are around. It isn't shyness or awkward, simply a lack of interest and perhaps social skills. It can make him seem rather rude, which isn't far from the truth. If Remick spends time with you, then you are one of very few he can tolerate.

IRRITABLE | IMPATIENT
Much like his Antisocial trait, Remick is not a pleasant individual to spend your sunday afternoon with. He's rather rude, with a bluntness that is both insulting and revealing; he doesn't seem to realize his own lack of people skills. This behavior usually arises when he is irritated, due to being incredibly impatient with people. He has no time for useless conversations, bubbly personalities, flirtatious endeavors, or likewise. If the topic doesn't interest him, Remick will make it known with a bad attitude.

History
FOAL
Adia was a strong warrior mare, she was a killer through and through. In fact, she enjoyed her job a little to much some may say. Violent when it was unnecessary, and quick to bite, Adia was not a kind soul. So you can imagine the shock the Clan felt when her belly began to swell. Kitani was the only soul who could manage Adia's temper, and was the closest thing to a friend the aggressive mother-to-be had. They were dear friends, but things would soon grow tragic indeed.
Kitani fell pregnant to a mystery stallion, who's identity she did not reveal. Adia, on the other hand, was proud to announce her son's child was the strongest stallion in the Warheads. A strategical move on her part, Adia dreamed of the warrior she would bring into the world, and the weapon she would raise them to be.
Adia delivered a colt late in the season of Autumn. Her joy would be short, as her runt of a child began to show signs of weakness and sick. She named him Robi, and devoted every hour of her days to training him. But no matter how loud she yelled, how hard she pushed, or how fiercely she punished, little Robi was too kind at heart to be the weapon she desired.
No matter how "worthless" her child was however, Adia's next move would never be justified. While Kitani suffered through labour, Adia watched and feigned support. The grey son she bore was taller, stronger, and healthier than Robi. Jealousy and desire overcame Adia, and with swift efficiency... she killed Kitani, and took her son.
She couldn't simply be rid off her own son, Robi, in the same fashion. The Clan would be suspicious. Adia created the lie that Kitani was killed by an Infected, and she had saved her newborn son from the jaws of death. Everyone praised Adia, and the dark truth of her act was never known.
The now orphaned son of Kitani was named Remick, and Adia raised him as her own.
Where Robi had failed, Remick succeeded. He was a decent warrior in training, though still not the spectacular prodegy Adia had desired. Her frustration and anger grew more violent and uncontrolled, and throughout their childhood both Robi and Remick caught the brunt of it. Adia would bully her own child more; weaker and small, Robi only became more shy and frightened with every beating. Although Remick would also be abused, it was not to the same degree.

TEENAGER
As puberty began to fuel Remick, his own anger would grow. He began to fight back, and defend his adopted twin. Indeed, their bond was so deep, everyone referred to them as such. Remick would do everything within his power to protect Robi, and try to teach him to be a fighter. But it was against Robi's nature, and so the abuse continued. Adia's madness had steadily grown to irrational levels. Sociopathic in her ways, Remick and Robi tried to seek help. But no one else saw Adia's darker side, and they were simply told to train harder to make Adia proud.
Soon, Remick grew to the age of fifteen, and unlike Robi, he had matured early. He was as tall as his adopted mother, though still awkwardly lanky and not filled out. With Adia growing more violent and cruel, Remick's sharp mind began to plot. There was no way to fix their situation; they had to run away.
Remick slowly began to gather supplies, and devise their escape. Remick found himself drawn to the mysterious keepers of human knowledge. Something inside him told him it was where he belonged, and that Robi too would find a home among the intelligent Equines. Remick often wondered if perhaps, his father had been a Keeper. For all the beatings she had delivered on her "pathetic" sons, Adia had never realized how smart they were. Just like real twins, they would trick and fool her, and she was blind to it all.

The night came when Robi was struck down in a bruised heap, Adia's raging voice ringing high as she thrashed her child. Remi stepped in, claiming the Commander had summoned her. She failed to take the bait, and continued to harass Robi. Thinking fast, Remick baited his mother with slanderous words and accusation. Like a well trained dog, she went to him, teeth bared. He managed to dodge her first attack, though she would leave a gash on his left foreleg. Having managed to trip her to the ground, Remick retrieved a shard of glass he had brought to the occasions, and slashed a shallow cut in his mothers leg. The wound was shallow, but the poison he had gathered from toxic dart frogs was coated on the glass, and would paralyze Adia for roughly an hour.
Their mother immobilized, the brothers made their break for freedom.

ADULT
Though slightly unsure about the two bloodied colts on their doorstep, their new Clan welcomed Robi and Remick into their herd. After a few months, they were allowed to stay, having proved their quick minds were of value to the guardians of human knowledge. While Robi focused on history and books, Remick found his place among machines. The mechanics and mathematics of engineering came easily to him, and he began working hard to master his chosen study of Engineering.
Although all his scars were gifted to him by Adia at some point, the paint stallion wears a bandage over one in particular; the deep slash she gave him on that final day.
He and his brother have grown closer, their affection for one another strong and clear. Only their work separates them, all other hours of the day are spent together.
Remick developed Insomnia not long after joining the Keeper Clan. Due to his rocky childhood, he suffered from nightmares that keep him tossing. He also has sleep Apnea, meaning he stops breathing in his sleep. While this isn't deadly, it does cause him to suffer poor sleep. Remick often looks tired, and has permanent dark circles under his eyes from these two health problems.

CURRENT DAY
Nowadays, Remick finds pleasure in Astrology. While Engineering remains his profession, the stars are his escape. He studies the constellations and planetary movements with great adoration and fascination. His love life is stagnant; so much time with his brother has left it hard for Remy to socialize with others. He's not shy, simple uncomfortable and incredibly impatient with others, and so romance is out of the question. However, there are some rumors drifting throughout the Clan that perhaps Remy spends a little too much time with his brother, and that in fact, something more intimate is the truth. After all, they are not twins by blood.

After some years with the Keepers, Remick eventually learnt of a stallion who had died by Infected fangs several years ago. His name was Deixon, and many believe him to be Remick's lost father, due to their striking resemblance and shared talents for Engineering. Deixon's sister, Wisteria, was the one to eventually inform Remick of the Clans theory. She gave Remick a gift; a dog tag necklace that Deixon wore every day of his living life. Wearing the stamped metal plate makes is a great comfort for Remi, making him feel connected to the father he never knew. Later, he had a second tag made baring the name "Robi".
