It was late in the day when this very small (about 1mm wide) solitary bee decided to bed down for the night on this flower. My wife held the back side of a grape leaf close to the flower to keep the background from being black. It's important to use the back side since the top of a grape leaf is shiny.Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F10, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@5x) + a diffused MT-24EX (-2/3 FEC).
