I love this so much I can't even tell you. It's so freaking awesome. I'm sure that you look at it and see all the mistakes you made but I look at it and think about how gorgeous and perfect it is.

Tolkien's own drawings (this seems to be based off of his Bag End Underhill) suggests that the tree should be much farther away from Bilbo's door.

Except for the mountain range (The Hobbit mentions that Bilbo had never seen a mountain before Rivendell), but it really is such a beautiful addition to the painting. :D
