Description
This drawing was copied--sort of--from a photograph I found in a book of stage actors. I say "sort of" because somewhere along the line, the man turned into a woman with a decidedly anime-proportioned face. Instead of going nuts with my eraser, I decided to continue along those lines.
So, what you have here is a BESM woman with a soulful, woobie look. I like how it came out, really.
Drawn to the sound of The Smiths (hence the title), with a plain old #2 pencil on a piece of writing paper. Redone somewhat in Paint Shop Pro to soften the jawline and get rid of a doodle in the corner.
