Note: You change up the bloodstains for each picture, right?
Any chance you could put most of the bloodstains in JUST her hair? Have it start off pink but then kinda get blood-red-splattered in the second version? (The character's hair is supposed to get bloodier with the more people she kills)
I'm also hoping that her pigtails can be properly conveyed in the icon... Do you think you can make that work? If you need I can try doodling a vision for you to go on, like my other icon!

Alright so, I make 2 pictures. One where the character is normal and somewhat innocent, and the other is where they go 'insane'.
You want her to be 'insane' in both pictures? The first the blood on her hair would be pink and the second is where it gets blood-red? No blood on her face and clothing?

Well her hair is actually pink initially 
As in, ignore the red for the first image and then add the red when you would add the blood

Also, this will be her first expression. The second will have (red) blood stains around her face and hair. But you want me to focus on the hair, right?
