When I was growing up, I was given an illustrated copy of the Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. The illustrations were by the Brothers Hildebrandt, and I always loved their sense of lighting. I guess that what I was trying with this render. A sense of the magic swirling around Briallen with the dragon becoming almost a silhouette. Rendered in layers to get the effect. Post work in Affinity Photo 2.
