I don't usually submit my wallpapers to deviantART, I keep them on my own website. However, this is a special occasion!100,000 hits.
What a milestone. I'm not much of a stat-fan... but this is a big step and does a lot to remind me of how much you all mean to me. Thank you, for all the comments, the wonderful critiques, for all the tips, encoruagement and all around love. I can't tell you how much you all mean to me. 
So, I hope you all will enjoy this wallpaper of my little fallen angel Adenydd. It's my attempt to try in some small way to say 'thank you.' Because I really do mean that... thank you. Some of the best people in the world are right here on this site, I honestly believe this, and I am blessed to be here.
This is only the 800x600 size wallpaper, but a 1024x768 and a 1600x1200 size can be found at my downloads page: [link]
If you want to use this, I'd suggest setting your background color to Red: 220, Green: 207 and Blue: 191, this makes the background color match the wallpaper. Please feel free to use this, but please do not redistribute.
Not my usual style, but something different, a little more raw, a little more natrual, and with just as much love and time poured into it as all my other works. Thank you all once more, you've all brightened my day more times than I can count!

Yeah, I loves most of the heathens of DA. Talented caring heathens, they keep me here at the community, when it would be just as easy to roll over and go back to sleep.
I love the soft almost unrefined feeling of the linear. I love that it isn't inked, and you can see those sketch marks in it. The rough pencil looking strokes in the background adds to that more free unpolished look of the piece. Plus- nummy contrasting texture. (YES! That is a techincal term. Would I use anything but professional venicular?)
Also- the sketchyness pulls me back from that total sense of realism. I am like- oh yeah, this ISN'T a photo. But I love that.
The uninked linear contrast from the smooooth painted cging. Your ability to lair different shades of colour (from pink to gray and other "untraditional") colours always makes your pieces stand out. You at you- ^ damphyr the artist.
Hopefully my cats won't eat me before you hit 200k. I know they would just love that all-you-can-eat-buffet.

That's laid out really nice for a windows-based desktop. I know you did it with pencils and photoshop, but it has a very charcoal and pastel quality to it. There is a lot of empty space behind him, but the color you used for it makes it look like parchment. It might be cool to see more script written behind our favorite little fallen angel.

He sure is lovely! I quite like the look of this...sort of Da Vinci-esque. And the way his wing has no outline, with that wonderful shading, most wonderful.
