Well, another colab picture!
I was griping to ^mangapunksai last night about how I wanted to color some more linearts. Beause I love coloring well done lineart made by other people. Dunno why. I just do. So...
She started sending me linearts to color.
This is my coloring of her image, .Fear of the Future. featuring her pretty angel boy, Gabriel. Our colors ended up looking quite a bit different... then again, I did mine with a digital medium and an oil painter's approach, were as she did hers with real-media watercolors. Still... a fun comparison. Gabie's such a pretty-man.
I love his shiny lips and his elebows. Don't ask me why. I love elebows. I'm odd, aren't I?
And I had so much fun with his hair. Meh, the whole thing was just fun. Thanks for letting me color it, Sai!

Colored by me in Photoshop, 5 layers plus the lineart.

Yours is more calm in the colouring. The transparent currents is more mystic, and also a nice touch. The strokes on the hair is amazing, it's easy to see the amount of effort that went into this.

Once again the background is so great. It gives this piece so much atmosphere. It's very dramatic and classic looking especially with the carefully placed colors in his hair and skin. You and Sai do good work together.

Wow, he's so shiney. *__* You're right, the elbows are really neat looking. And the hands and the neck and everything. You add detail through coloring, which a lot of people don't do. You might wanna make the lips a little lighter because his face already looks a little too girly for the body, and making him look like he's wearing lipstick accentuates it more.
