My Christmas project! This was a great way for me to practice my hand stitching, I learned to get my back stitch pretty darn straight, I think. Stumpy here is my new pin cushion, made of felt, doll eyes, stuffing and rice. I also put dried lavender in with the stuffing, so he smells great.

Pattern was found online, though it called for a lot more blanket stitching. I wanted to to practice tight stitches and to turn the doll in side out, so it's a little different from the original. I didn't notice the dent in his forehead when I took the photos, wish I had smoothed that out. I'm pretty pleased with how well he turned out. Now I'm off in search of another plushie to make!
