Description
This is the EAV-8B Matador II, the Spanish Navy's version of the USMC's AV-B Harrier II and it too came to perform, note that it has 1 Drop Tank under each wing as well as the retractable in-flight refueling probe.It is a V/STOL Ground-Attack Aircraft and a product of Boeing, Defense, Space and Security formally a McDonnell Douglas product and also a product of BAE Systems.
Also note the Spanish roundel next to the port thrust vectoring nozzles.
It is powered by 1 (23,500lbf) Rolls-Royce F402-RR-408 (Mk 107) vectored-thrust turbofan, can reach an altitude of 14,700ft and a maximum speed of 673mph.
Main armament consists of 2 central fuselage mounted pods, port side has 1 General Dynamics GAU-12 Equalizer 25mm 5-barrelled Gatling Cannon and starboard side holds 300 rounds of ammo. (Matador II Plus variant)
