Description This is the Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation Airliner of the 1950s with Civilian and Military variants built.

It first flew and was introduced in 1951 and was developed from the L-049 Constellation from 1943 which was the year of first flight, introduction came 3 years later in 1946.

The Super Constellation is powered by 4 (3,250hp) Wright R-3350 972-TC-18DA-1 radial piston engines, it can reach an altitude of 25,700ft and a maximum speed of 330mph.

Note that the Super Constellation is a 3 tail design.
