he found mewhen i was trying
to be invisible.
he grabbed my hands
and took me away
from all pain, all hate.
he watched me
at my worst moments
his golden eyes
saw right through me.
auburn hair, light skin,
he took me away
from it all.
and in the rain
he kissed me softly,
our eyes met
and the world seemed
almost perfect.
he came for me,
he saved me from all pain.
that kiss changed
a lot of things, it was
different than every one
before.
his touch changed me,
but for good?
so many questions,
so few answers.
does he love me for who i am?
or for what i have?
he doesn't seem like that though,
he's different then all the rest.
his world seemed perfect
through his golden eyes.
but look a little deeper
and there were many things
behind them.
but he buried them all away,
he put them away for me.
he has a name, yes it's unique.
he loves it when i say it,
he loves my voice.
he loves every part of me,
i think i might love
him for who he really is,
but only time will tell me.
