when you were still alive
still beating and breathing
i promised you
that if you disappeared,
i would search for you
until i die.
that is one promise
i will not bend nor break
not that i would want to,
i'm sorry i broke our last promise
i'm sorry i broke my skin
so i could bleed like you did that night.
but i don't matter
i never did
people just love to fight
and walk all over me
they love to make my pain worse
is there one that will not hurt me?
i have found few
that choose not to hurt me
