DESCRIPTION

Ona is an excitable wyngling that loves to see what the other students at Wynsiph base are up to. She's still very young, having only recently learned how to walk on her own, and isn't able to say much beyond baby babble and the occasional out of place word. She spends most of her waking hours around Balrona or Livius, but at her current stage in life she opts to sleep most of the day away.

Ona's egg was discovered out in the Wynsiph forests by Balrona and Livius during a spite investigation at an isolated cottage. It was discovered to be in the possession of a group of yittles, who may have been feeding off its magical and emotional energy as it grew closer to hatching. The egg may have been stolen from the Nook during a night where several other eggs went missing, or simply abandoned by its mother and left to the will of the forest; either way, there was no way of knowing for sure how the egg ended up so far from town, and in such a perilous situation.

The head hunters carried the egg back to their base, but plans to leave it in Alma's care at the Nook were thwarted when the egg hatched and Balrona became quickly taken with the child. Livius suggested naming the wyngling "Ona", a shortened version of Balrona due to their uncanny resemblance to one another. Balrona agreed and Ona has been raised at the base ever since.
