She is a stubborn mare who is always speaking her mind. She is strong and has a flirty side to her that not many see. Sometimes her temper gets the better of her but she holds it back pretty well. She loves being around foals and just enjoys watching me them. She is very protective of her young as been known to snap at anyone who she sees as a threat.

Amethyst was born among the cruel side of the human world. She was taken from her mother at a young age so she didn’t know much about her let alone who she was. Like many other foals she placed in a pen with the others. They feed from bottles a few times a day until they were old enough to eat hay. However unlike many of the foals she was one of the only black fillies and the humans seemed to have a soft spot for them. She was often given a treat of some kind. Amethyst never saw why she was treated different until another young filly who stood out from the other foals told her. She was so very surprised and simply didn't understand. As she reached training age she watched as the other foals were often whipped if they didn't listen.

Amethyst was taught nice and slow but she had been struck a couple of times. When she was she snapped back at them with ears pinned flat against her skull. Through those years she became best friends with that the filly who had told her why she was different. Rilla was everything to Amethyst she was often telling her of how she would run away from this stable and take her with her. However that dream only came to one of them. One day like all the others a man came to the pen where they were held and took Rilla out. Many times Amethyst had snapped, kicked and charged at the men who can for herself but this time Rilla had been take while Amethyst wasn’t looking. She looked for her and when she didn’t find her she looked out at the training ring to see her beloved friend being whipping into jumping fenced that were too high for her.
Rilla soon stumbled over one and fell to the ground. Amethyst cried out to her friend just as the man whipped her friend telling her to get up. But Rilla was tired and was hurt to. Amethyst finally couldn’t take any more and jumped the fence that held her. She charged the man tramping him until he laid still. Blood pooled below the man but she paid him no mind and rushed to her friend. She stood over Rilla watching over her hoping that she would be alright. Hours passed and more humans came shouting. Rilla told her to run while she had the chance. Amethyst didn’t want to leave without her dear friend but Rilla wouldn’t let her pass this chance up. With a saddened goodbye Amethyst ran for her life she heard a gunshot and thought her only friend was gone. Not long after becoming free Amethyst came was found by a handsome stallion by the name of Matteo. She joined his herd days later and hasn’t left since
